Before Parliament
He came to the Lok Sabha after two terms in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (2003–2008 and 2013–2018), representing Kishangarh, one of the eight Assembly segments that make up the Ajmer Lok Sabha constituency. The constituency itself was last redrawn in the 2008 delimitation and comprises Dudu, Kishangarh, Pushkar, Ajmer North, Ajmer South, Nasirabad, Masuda and Kekri.

From asking to answering
A Minister does not ask questions in the House; he answers them for the Government. After 9 June 2024 his parliamentary work changed accordingly.
